How to Care for Your Mattress

HELPFUL TIPS TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR NEW MATTRESS

ALLOW FOR AN ADJUSTMENT PERIOD
Allow your body up to two weeks to get used to your new mattress.

SPOT CLEAN ONLY
If spots or stains make it onto your mattress, do not remove the mattress cover. Doing so would ruin the mattress and invalidate the warranty. We recommend spot cleaning with a mild detergent and letting it air dry.

PROTECT YOUR MATTRESS
We recommend using a washable, high-quality mattress protector to keep your mattress fresh and stain free.

GIVE IT SOME BREATHING ROOM
After unboxing and removing the plastic packaging, be sure to leave your mattress uncovered in a well ventilated area for a few hours before putting sheets on it. This allows it to air out and breathe before sheets are put on it.

SUPPORT THE BASE
Make sure your mattress is placed on a solid foundation, platform base, or wooden slat foundation with spaces no more than 3” apart and a strong center support (for Queen and King size mattresses).

ROTATE FOR LONGEVITY
Make sure to rotate (not flip) your mattress 1-2 times per year, or approximately every 6 months. This will help evenly distribute the normal wear and tear and help extend its life.
