Our Story
Over the Years
1971
Inception of Jeffco
Jeffco Fibres Incorporated, Founded by Blanche and Alfred Lonstein.
When they went to go sign the paperwork at City Hall and had no name for their business. Al said to Blanche “what are we going to name this company??” Blanche panicked and said “Oh, why Jeffco after our son Jeffrey, of course!!”
They created two Divisions: Jeffco Upholstery Supplies and Fiber Division.
1990
Establishes Cut and Sew Department
Begins sewing upholstery cushions, down and feather products, and eventually mattress and topper covers.
1996-2000
Enters Memory Foam Consumer Products business
Selling memory foam pillows, specialty wedges/ pillows, and mattress toppers
2005-2012
Expands sales of roll-packed mattresses
Supplying them to many major ecommerce and retail customers.
2014-2018
Next Generation Management
3rd Generation enters the business. Focus on LEAN manufacturing, process improvement, new technologies, and building an unparalleled team.
2018
Manufacturing Excellence Award: Worcester Business Journal
Honored with this award for its implementation of State-Of-The-Art Manufacturing Quality Processes/ approach.

Expansion
Jeffco expands production in both Webster, MA and opens a new campus in Woodstock, CT.
